When will you learn, lives over money.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently who has the uncanny ability to just, like, not get mad at stuff. He can watch the news and hear about other things going very wrong all over the place and then just… move on. He can go about his day and not let shitty legislation and dumb-dumb mayors and unintentionally suicidal protesters fester in his mind.

I aspire to be that zen.

I will never be that zen.

In the meantime, I will continue to get a little turned on by these poems that take a political stance. A+ for everyone who votes like I do.
